Red Faction Guerrilla by THQ Xbox 360 is one of the coolest 3rd person shooter games ever created. Why is it so cool? This game is all about blowing up lots and lots of stuff with various kinds of high powered explosives. In this game, you play a man named Alec Mason who goes to Mars to find some work and inadvertently ends up joining the Red Faction in their struggle for freedom.
Your mission is to liberate the planet from the oppressive Earth Defense Forces (EDF). In order to accomplish this, you must free every sector of the planet from EDF control. By completing missions, killing important enemy personnel and structures, you will be able to lower the EDFs control rating in a particular area. When this rating finally reaches 0, you'll gain access to a special final mission for that area.
Aside from the regular missions, each sector will also have a variety of side quests which you may choose to accomplish. The best part of this game really is the fact that you get to blow up lots of stuff. There's even a multiplayer mode in which you win by destroying more stuff than your opponent. The world in which you play in is also Grand Theft Auto-like. This coupled with easily destructible stuff everywhere you go equals complete and utter chaos.
If you want to play the ultimate action game that has a good gameplay plus a good story as well, then you should definitely get yourself a copy of Red Faction Guerrilla by THQ Xbox 360.
